Clamp of the ain’ts

On Monday the Weekly Standard invited me to take a look at our border crisis featuring unaccompanied Central American minors. The new issue of the Standard, out this morning, carries my article “Disorder at the border.” I have to thank editor Bill Kristol for the invitation and assistant managing editor Kelly Jane Torrance for reworking my draft into publishable form.

Within a limited space I did my best to trace how we got here and to suggest why the crisis might have something to do with the man at the top. National Review editor Rich Lowry goes over some of the same ground in his column “Obama’s ‘man caused’ disaster,” the “man” linked to the “cause” being the same one I identify. Please check ’em out.
