Today’s Climate Embarrassment

Last month we noted the epic hypocrisy of Greenpeace flying a senior executive to and from his home in Luxembourg to company HQ in Amsterdam.  No worries about carbon footprints for him: he’s too important.

Today there’s an even better story out of the UK reported in The Telegraph:

People Who Claim To Worry About Climate Change Use More Electricity

By Matthew Holehouse

People who claim to worry about climate change use more electricity than those who do not, a Government study has found.

Those who say they are concerned about the prospect of climate change consume more energy than those who say it is “too far into the future to worry about,” the study commissioned by the Department for Energy and Climate Change found. . .

But of course they do. They’re just following Al Gore’s shining example.  As Glenn Reynolds likes to say, I don’t want to hear one more goddamn thing about my carbon footprint.  But Green Weenies all around.
