Early in President Obama’s career, it was widely claimed that he was a great public speaker. I don’t think anyone would say that today. In my opinion, he is a mediocre speaker on his best days. One of the reasons for this is that no matter the topic, he is mostly interested in himself. The frequency with which he refers to himself is often noted. It is sad when a man dies without ever having known true love. Happily, we can be sure that this is not Barack Obama’s fate.
