The Democrats’ Politics of Division

In recent years, the Democrats have pursued a strategy of division. They have tried to stir up hatred between races, animosity between the sexes, and envy of the successful, betting that they could thereby cobble together a winning political coalition. It hasn’t worked, fortunately, but it has done tremendous damage–perhaps irreparable damage–to America. The Democrats should be deeply ashamed, but of course they aren’t.

The Democrats have divided but they haven’t conquered. I may be mistaken, but I suspect that the backlash against their politics of division has barely begun.
