Deal with Iran taking shape

Our surrender to Iran’s nuclear program were implicit in the so-called Joint Plan of Action agreed to by the Obama administration; only the details needed to be worked out. The AP reports the details in process in “Phased US-Iran nuclear deal taking shape.”

The details are about what you would expect, only worse. The Times of Israel’s David Horovitz comments in “Now we know who to believe on Iran.”

We already knew. Indeed, we know that the mullahs have been a more reliable source of information than Obama and his diplomats. We understand why Obama doesn’t want Prime Minister Netanyahu to spell out to the American people the meaning of the deal taking shape. We understand why Obama does not want the American people to hear that “we have sustained a defeat without a war, the consequences of which will travel far with us along our road[.]” We understand why Obama has no intention of seeking congressional approval of any such deal. But we take Horovitz’s point.
