Steve, Paul and I got together yesterday afternoon to record Episode 12 of the Power Line Show. Foreign affairs dominated in the form of Iran and the election in Israel, but we also talked about the Republicans’ need to coordinate on the budget and wrapped with conversation about the 2016 GOP presidential field. The show is highlighted by an interview with Senator Marco Rubio, who explained his reasons for signing the now-famous Tom Cotton open letter to the mullahs, gave us his impression of the current status of the negotiations with Iran’s regime, and elaborated on his newsmaking interview with the Associated Press, in which he said that as president, he would feel free to walk away from a bad agreement with Iran, even if our European allies are committed to sticking with it.
All in all, it should be an entertaining show.
