Follow Thursday’s GOP Debates at Power Line Live

When the 2012 primary campaign was hot, thousands of Power Line readers joined us at Power Line Live to follow the action and cheer on their favorites. When the presidential debates ensued, thousands more cheered our guy, Mitt Romney.

Since then, with a few exceptions, Power Line Live has gone dark. Maybe we should have fired it up for the Super Bowl, or the World Series–or even, sorry Paul, the World Cup. But generally, with the exception of a few highlights like election night 2014 (“Yes!”) the site has been gathering cobwebs for a while.

But no longer. On Thursday, the GOP presidential contenders will gather for two “debates,” i.e., joint public appearances. The main event will feature the current top ten in the polls, while the preliminary show will feature the rest of the field, including such luminaries as Carly Fiorina, Rick Perry and Bobby Jindal. Who knows? Our next president may come from that group.

So: plan to sign in to Power Line Live on Thursday. I think the preliminary event, which could prove as interesting as the sequel, begins at 5:00, I assume Eastern. In any event, we will have more details tomorrow. For the time being, just mark your calendar to follow the first presidential debate, the first step toward a new, more rational era, with a couple thousand close personal conservative friends, here at Power Line.
