The Power Line Show, Episode 27: Bill Otis, Criminal Justice “Reform,” and Chaos In the House

Today John, Paul and Scott got together to record Episode 27 of the Power Line Show. We were joined by former federal prosecutor Bill Otis to talk about the criminal justice “reform” bill that is being rushed through the Senate. If you are unsure what that is all about, this podcast would be a great place to start. The rest of the show was devoted to the news story of the day: chaos in the House of Representatives. Who is the GOP’s best choice for Speaker? Why won’t GOP leaders offer spending bills consistent with the budget they just passed? Why does the Senate minority get to dictate federal spending? These questions and more are hashed over.

It is a fun and informative episode of the Power Line Show, hope you enjoy it!
