Reagan-Coolidge 2016?

Think of this as the election equivalent of fantasy football league. Back in late October, I ventured to St. Anselm’s College in New Hampshire to debate against Coolidge biographer Amity Shlaes on which Republican president was the greater and most suitable model for Republicans today. C-SPAN was there, and has finally broadcast the event, which you can see here (over an hour long). Here’s a two minute YouTube clip of Amity’s opening case:

Incidentally, the audience voted Team Reagan (I was paired with John Sununu) the winner of this epic contest.
