InstaPundit has some interesting posts on the BBC scandal, but I was really struck by this observation by Prof. Reynolds, which encapsulates very well the BBC's place in the culture: "Accountable to neither the voters nor the marketplace! That's the ultimate New Class dream, of course, and explains in part why the BBC has such iconic status to the New Class, worldwide." Well put. Posted by at 6:57 PM
