Today it was Dan Froomkin at the Washington Post, who breathlessly hypothesized that Libby struck a mid-trial bargain with President Bush, whereby Libby agreed not to testify and not to call Vice-President Cheney as a witness, in exchange for Bush's promise of a pardon.
