Joel Mowbray reports: The AP issues a correction
Joel Mowbray (jdmowbra@erols.com) folllows up on his most recent post concerning the erroneous AP story that Joel called on the AP to correct:
Even the best reporters can make mistakes.Joel writes that he has several more follow-ups that he will be filing with us concerning his March 5 page-one Washingon Times story on American financial aid going to two Palestinian universities friendly to terrorism.I had pointed out an error that the AP had made in an earlier post here, and sure enough the AP has issued a correction here.
In hindsight, I was probably too tough on the reporter who made the mistake. It was a pretty grevious error, but that should have been my cue that it was
unintentional.
