In his excellent City Journal essay on Pete Seeger, Howard Husock dubbed Seeger America's most successful Communist. In today's New York Sun historian Ronald Radosh finds a current documentary celebrating Seeger still toeing the party line. JOHN adds: It is ironic that the opening of the documentary lionizing Seeger, which Radosh criticizes, coincides with the dedication of a memorial to the more than 100 million victims of Communism. It would be interesting to hear Seeger explain his fidelity to a movement that far surpassed, in the field of mass murder, all others in human history.
