Dubious achievement awards

The Senate is well on its way to setting a new record for the fewest appellate court nominees confirmed during a president’s final two years. And whatever happens next year, the Senate is virtually certain to set a record this year for the fewest hearings on appellate court nominees in a president’s next-to-last year.
