Funding Palestinian terrorism

Bush administration diplomacy to advance to the framework for the creation of a Palestinian state includes the planned funding and training of a 50,000-member (let's use the Reuters term of art) "gendarmerie." This is, not to put too fine a point on it, nuts. Rachel Ehrenfeld and Alyssa Lappen elaborate in an infuriating Pajamas Media column. Is anyone paying attention?
