Mark Steyn devotes his weekly column to Barack Obama and Reverend Wright. It is an excellent column that captures the fraudulence of Obama's treatment of the issues raised by his long relationship with Wright. Previously Obama recognized Wright as his "close confidant." In his Philadelphia speech, Obama likened Wright to his grandmother. Now he has downgraded the relationship to that of merely being a congregant of the pastor. They hardly know each other after all.
