The Wall Street Journal believes in what it refers to internally as “the reported editorial.” For an outstanding example, look at today’s piece by Simon Henderson, “The Saudi Way.” Henderson reports that the Saudi royal family has funded Al Qaeda to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars, both before and after 9/11. If you are aware that this information has previously been reported in the New York Times, or mentioned in particular in any of Tom Friedman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning foreign affairs columns in the paper, will you please e-mail us at the indicated address?
