I haven’t been able to find it on the web, but the funniest commentary I’ve seen on the liberals’ inability to compete in talk radio was in a Bloom County cartoon quite a few years ago. It shows Opus, Bill and one or two other characters in their meadow next to a folding table with a telephone on it. On the folding table is a sign that says “KLIB.” In the first panel Opus says something like: “We’ve decided to start a liberal talk show. We’re going to take calls from people who think their taxes are too low and we need more government regulation.” All of the remaining panels show the gang sitting silently by the telephone waiting for it to ring.
If anyone can find it on the web, email us a link and I’ll post it.
