The Claremont Institute has kindly

The Claremont Institute has kindly published an electronic version of my American Enterprise magazine article “Better unsafe than (occasionally) sorry?” on its Web site. The January/February issue of the magazine is devoted to homeland defense; my article addresses the issue of “racial profiling” in this context. Sincere thanks to Melanie Marlowe and Kevin Walker at the Claremont Institute for their interest and assistance, and to Karl Zinsmeister, editor-in-chief of the magazine, for his permission.
