This protester, a member of “Code Pink,” chained herself to the fence outside the United Nations building in New York to object to possible war with Iraq. Someone should tell that the chance of the U.N. Security Council initiating military action against Iraq or anyone else is zero, and the emissaries from France, Germany et al. hardly need bodies chained to fences to restrain their warlike tendencies. Code Pink, by the way, is described by the Associated Press as a group that “traveled to Iraq on a peace-seeking mission earlier this month visiting orphanages, hospitals and areas that have been targets of U.S. bombing.” Huh? What bombing? Would that it were true!
