Not affirmative, sir

Bruce Fleming spent a year on the admissions board of the Naval Academy. That’s about how long it took for him to encounter all of the absurdities necessitated by the practice of “affirmative action.” His piece in Sunday’s Washington Post Outlook section is one of the best first-person accounts I have ever read on the subject: “Not affirmative, sir.”
