Ann Coulter at Syracuse University

Ann Coulter is one tough (and funny) hombre. This account of her presentation followed by questions and answers at Syracuse University is a good one: “Author liberally taunts crowd.”
Apropos of the Star Tribune’s editorial last Sunday on patriotism was this exchange: “[One audience member asked] whether her definition of a liberal was ‘anybody who hates America.’
‘”That’s not a bad working definition,’ Coulter said, to shouts and boos.” (Courtesy of John Derbyshire [his comment: “I’m in love”] and The Corner.)
