Hunting bin Laden

ABC News is reporting that U.S. and Pakistani forces are tracking a “caravan” of people on foot and horseback in a remote, mountainous area of southwestern Pakistan. The caravan is believed to include bin Laden. The area has been closed to all traffic. ABC says that CIA paramilitary units may attack the caravan by helicopter; President Bush has also authorized a missile attack if bin Laden is positively identified as being part of the group. It appears that a cell phone call from bin Laden to one of his sons in Iran may have been the key break. No doubt all of this is related to the capture of Mohammed and the rumored capture of two of bin Laden’s other sons yesterday. Stay tuned.
