Situation Deteriorating in Security Council

The London Times reports that the situation in the U.N. Security Council appears to be deteriorating, as both France and Russia have vowed to veto the U.S./British resolution, and Pakistan has indicated it will abstain. Further, there is talk of a British-led “compromise” that would push the deadline back a few days.
