Great, More Delay

How much longer can this go on? Now it’s being reported that the U.S. will delay the Security Council vote because we don’t have the nine votes needed for passage. Unbelievable, if true. I’ve seen various writers draw “Moby Dick” analogies with President Bush as Ahab and Saddam Hussein as the whale, but it seems to me that what the President is pursuing with a zeal and persistence bordering on the irrational is U.N. approval of what we obviously will and must do.
