W.’s truth and Saddam’s war plan

The New York Post has the lineup we’re looking for this morning: John Podhoretz on “W’s plain truth,” Amir Taheri on “Saddam’s war plan,” and Ralph Peters on what the troops need from us now, “Patience.”
Taheri’s piece really is necessary reading. He indicates that Saddam Hussein has a strategy to survive the war in power by creating humanitarian disasters that would slow the advance of attacking troops. He counts on Jacques Chirac and his friends among the “peace” movement to take over from there.
