The war that will change the world

As the war begins, we obviously hunger more for information than for the kind of informed opinion that is our staple. Our friends at RealClearPolitics are posting some of the best new stories on the war together with their usual lineup of the day’s best columns. This morning they have posted the Washington Post’s story on the strike at Saddam Hussein last night: “CIA had fix on Hussein.”
William Safire’s column today follows up his column last week regarding the French suppliers of Iraq’s weapons: “French connection II.”
And Ralph Peters’ column in the New York Post suggests that the war will have epochal consequences: “The war that will change the world.”
