Russia Aids Saddam

The Washington Post reports today that Russian companies are still collaborating with Saddam Hussein’s regime by selling vital war materiel, including night-vision goggles and electronic equipment capable of disrupting precision-guided missiles. An American official says, “The stuff’s there, it’s on the ground and they’re trying to use it against us.” And Russian technicians have been in Baghdad within the last week, instructing Iraqis in the use of guidance-jamming equipment. Another score to be settled when the war is over.
