Bureaucracy of terror

In his New York Post column this morning Ralph Peters notes that the destruction of the Iraqi regime will result in the greatest intelligence coup in history. I hope he’s not hyperventilating: “The secret war.” Victor Davis Hanson explains why victory on our part requires unconditional surrender on theirs: “To unconditional victory.”
As Amir Taheri observes, however, we could still snatch defeat from the jaws of unconditonal victory: “The U.N. threat.” William Safire thinks W’s too smart to do that: “A fly on the wall.” I think we agree.
