Iran to Expel Terrorist Fugitives?

U.P.I. reports that the U.S. is engaging in talks with Iran to secure the expulsion of senior members of Ansar ao-Islam, the al Qaeda affiliate formerly headquartered in northern Iraq, who fled to Iran during the recent war.
An American official is quoted:
“Having altered the strategic environment, there is an opportunity to seek Iran’s assistance on this very specific issue.”
American officials also said that the recent capture of Huda Salih Mahdi Ammash, popularly called “Mrs. Anthrax,” was due to the cooperation of Syria, which expelled her from Syria and then disclosed her location in Baghdad to the U.S. Syrian cooperation is expected to lead to the arrest of other wanted Iraqis in the near future.
Nothing like a successful war to “alter the strategic environment.”
