A deepening mystery

The vogue of theorizing about the alleged posthumous influence of Leo Strauss continues with an article in today’s Boston Globe. Despite the fact that Strauss wrote a score of books and many more essays, the article lacks a single quote from Strauss that substantiates any substantive view attributed to him. The article is “The philosopher.”
HINDROCKET adds: Mystery indeed. The Left appears to be laying the foundation for a campaign to vilify conservatives as “neocons” and “Straussians.” Seems like an odd strategy, as hardly any voters will have any idea what they are talking about. It’s not like they were calling us “neo-Stalinists” or something. Oh, wait, they’re doing that too.
