Scandals of the Times

Andrew Sullivan has done an outstanding job of delineating the institutional scandal behind the Jayson Blair story at the New York Times. But our friend Kirk Kolbo has also pointed out this interesting post from Discriminations on the kind of daily axe-grinding that occurs in the news pages and that routinely creates stories with fictitious scripts: “‘Diversity’ and editorial standards at the New York Times.”
