The AP caption reads: “Palestininans retrieve body parts from a car that was destroyed by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City, Thursday, June 12, 2003. In the third airstrike against Hamas targets in 24 hours, Israeli helicopters on Thursday fired missiles at a car in Gaza City, killing five people, including a young child, and wounding 25, doctors said.”
I don’t think that quite captures what is happening here. Charles Johnson and the readers of Little Green Footballs seem to me to have a little more insight to offer.
