Good news from Colorado

Reader Joshua Sharf called my attention to this story from the Denver Post. Gov. Bill Owens has denounced the use of race as a factor in determining admissions to Colorado’s public universities and has said he will sign legislation prohibiting the use of race in this manner. Two high ranking Republican State Senators then announced that they are considering introducing such legislation.
