The Washington Post smears a distinguished local judge

This letter to the editor provides the details. The Post published this correction today. But it remains difficult to understand how the paper could have made so many simple factual errors about one story. And, as the letter to the editor notes, the correction cannot undue the damage done to Judge Murphy.
