Al Qaeda’s SE Asia Leader Captured

The U.S. government announced today that Riduan Isamuddin, better known as Hambali, has been captured. Hambali is described as al Qaeda’s operations chief for Southeast Asia and is suspected of involvement in the Bali bombing and the recent Jakarta hotel bombing, as well as the bombings of a number of Christian churches in the Philippines. He is now in U.S. custody, undergoing interrogation.
