Praying for the Ten Commandments

Howard Bashman has directed us to some interesting developments in the controversy over the injunction directing Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Moore to remove the Ten Commandments monument outside the court. Bashman points out that today’s edition of the Montgomery Advertiser reports that “Thousands rally for Commandments,” and that Montgomery’s NBC affiliate provides links to audio of the major speeches delivered at yesterday’s rally.
According to the article, “The Rev. Rick Scarborough of Vision America, who organized the rally, did not quibble with a crowd estimate of about 4,000 people. Though organizers hoped for as many as 25,000, Scarborough said he was pleased by the turnout.” (Courtesy of How Appealing, which includes several more related links.)
