Our unconstitutional Supreme Court

The Supreme Court building in Washinton, DC, has at least two depictions of Moses holding the Ten Commandments that we have been able to find on the Web. The frieze in the pediment on the outside of the building is depicted below:

The frieze is located at 2nd St. between E. Capitol St. and Maryland Ave. NE. on the east facade of the Supreme Court. It is about 18 feet tall and 60 feet long; it emphasizes the contributions of Eastern and Mediterranean civilizations to the development of law. Moses and the Ten Commandments are at the center of the frieze. Below is a closeup.
