Paul Newman sues HUD

I can’t remember the last time I read something funny on the Times op-ed page. Maybe it was back when they were occasionally publishing Christopher Buckley’s send-ups of the Times itself. But it has certainly become a swamp of high-minded humorlessness.
Today, however, is an exception — and, not that it’s particularly difficult, the CEO of Salad King has proved himself funnier than Al Franken in his op-ed piece on Fox’s foolish lawsuit against Franken for infringing its “Fair and balanced” trademark: “Paul Newman is still HUD.”
