The Age of Hayward

Our friend Steve Hayward is both brilliant and prolific. Author of the invaluable Age of Reagan, he is at work on the second volume that will carry the story from 1980 through the Reagan presidency. At the same time, he is finishing an iconoclastic book on Jimmy Carter and producing some of the best journalism of the day.
The American Enterprise Institute has just posted Steve’s new National Review article on California’s recurring fiscal meltdowns, “The once-a-decade crisis,” and the Claremont Institute has just posted Steve’s biting, insightful review of the Hillary Clinton/Sid Vicious memoirs fom the new Claremont Review of Books, “Hillary’s makeover.”
