The news from Yale

The service workers’ strike for the right to retire at age 40 is going full bore, with AFL-CIO president John Sweeney seeking to turn New Haven into Selma 1963: “Sweeney, union workers arrested at Yale.” I can’t wait to read Sweeney’s “Letter from a New Haven Jail.”
Inspirational quote: “Mike Treskow, a senior economics and philosophy major from Russia, said riot police ran past him as he ate breakfast at a local restaurant. ‘I just woke up a couple of minutes ago. I’m not really sure what’s going on,’ Treskow said, watching the union parade march past the eatery.”
