Embedded in their hotel

Paul Crespo, writing in the Miami Herald, contends that much good news from Iraq is going unreported. According to Crespo, “some attribute this partly to the fact that most of the 27 reporters left in Iraq are huddled in a hotel.” Crespo believes that “if we had reporters still embedded with military units, or spread out across Iraq now, we would be seeing a vastly different picture of Iraq than the negative one being fed to most Americans and being hyped by one party for political gain.”
