Maybe one leader away

The other day I suggested that there was good news and bad news for the French. The good news is that they are only two leaders away from becoming a first-rate nation again. The bad news is that the two leaders are Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. I’d forgotten, however, about Sabine Herold, the 22-year-old French libertarian about whom we have blogged previously. Here is a portrait of Herold by Matt Welch in ReasonOnline. Within a decade, perhaps France will be only one leader away.
