Meeting Congressman Kline

Power Line is proud to count Minnesota’s Second District Congressman John Kline as a friend. He had a distinguished career in the Marine Corps, capping his service carrying the nuclear football for President Reagan. In November 2002 he defeated an incumbent Democratic congressman to add to the Republican majority in the House. Few congressmen bring a more needed expertise to Congress than John Kline.

Last week Littler Trunk visited Congressman Kline’s Washington office while attending the National Youth Leadership Forum’s Defense, Intelligence and Diplomacy program. He took a break from a committee hearing to let Littler Trunk have her photograph taken with him.
