Disgusting

That’s the only word to describe the conduct of Michael Schiavo and his crusade to end the life of his wife Terri. Nat Hentoff, in the Village Voice, shows that the same word applies to media coverage of this dispute. Indeed, Hentoff, who has been in the business for nearly half a century, describes that coverage as “journalistic malpractice.” The chief culprit, it appears, is the New York Times. What a surprise.
