Drunk on truth serum

David Brooks devotes a witty column to what he views as the rampant ingenuousness of the Bush administration and calls for an infusion of old-fashioned back-stabbing: “A fetish of candor.” Brooks thinks that Al Gore would be able to counsel the administration in this regard.
