“In recent polls, people have been asked to compare President Bush to their idealized notion of what a perfect president should be. GOP strategists are depressed and Dem activists are thrilled upon learning that voters do not consider Bush to be their idea of a perfect president. Clearly if Bush is challenged by an opposing candidate who is perfect at being all things to all people, Bush is in serious trouble.
“In other news yesterday, John Kerry has emerged as the presumptive nominee for president from the Democratic Party. The likelihood that John Kerry will be considered the perfect candidate by a majority of voters is still uncertain.
