Don’t Weep For Me, Arizona

This morning I did a post titled “Where’s That *#%@)!*#%@ Groundhog?”; if you missed it, it’s here. The post was a complaint about the weather taking a turn for the worse here in Minnesota, with this photo of my deck, taken at 7:00 this morning:

Reader Doyle Elkins of Prescott, Arizona, sent us an email noting that southwesterners have their own weather problems:

With all the news on TV lately about the sub zero weather and snow that the east coast and upstate NY areas are experiencing, we shouldn’t forget that Southern California has its share of devastating weather, also.
I’ve attached a photo illustrating the damage caused to a home from a west coast storm that passed through the Los Angeles area recently. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for granted!!!
