Washington’s Crossing

The summer issue of the Claremont Review of Books has just been published, and several of the highlights have been posted. In the meantime, I commend to your attention without further discussion the review by Mackubin Thomas Owens of two new books on George Washington: “First in war.” One of the two books under review is David Hackett Fischer’s Washington’s Crossing, a book that Rocket Man has discussed previously on this site (here and here).
