The Anti-Chomsky Reader

MIT’s Professor Noam Chomsky is probably the best-selling commentator on public affairs in America. Since the 1960’s he has cranked out books and speeches espousing a vile, pseudo-intellectual anti-American propaganda. From the New Yorker’s recent description of him as “one of the finest minds of the twentieth century,” one would never know that he is also a lunatic. Despite his influence and his lunacy, his writings have never been subject to the kind of sustained analysis that is called for under the circumstances.

Until now. Encounter Books has just published The Anti-Chomsky Reader, edited by Peter Collier and David Horowitz. In anticipation of the book’s publication I’ve been dogging Encounter for an interview with Collier over the past few months. Stay tuned. In the meantime, check out Clara Magram’s NRO column: “Chomping Chomsky.”
